Our routes are planned and tested by our highly skilled adventure experts. Our holidays cater to all levels, whether you're a seasoned walker or a beginner. As a certified B Corp, we’re committed to responsible travel, supporting local communities, and minimising our environmental impact.

Popular routes in England include the Cotswolds Way, perfect for first-time walkers with its rolling hills and picturesque villages; the South West Coast Path, known for its dramatic cliffs and sandy beaches; Hadrian’s Wall Path, which traces Roman history across northern England; The Coast to Coast Walk from the Irish Sea to the North Sea; and the Lake District Trails, offering stunning mountain and lake views.

In Scotland, the West Highland Way and Great Glen Way often steal the spotlight with their dramatic Highland views, but other treasures await; St. Cuthbert’s Way, a historic pilgrimage route through the Scottish Borders; Rob Roy Way traces the legendary outlaw’s path through Perthshire; Arran Coastal Way and Fife Coastal Path showcase Scotland’s most picturesque coastlines. We also offer routes in Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands.

  • West Highland Way

Scotland's most famous long-distance trail, the West Highland Way, travels its way north through verdant lowlands, along the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, and on to moors and highlands steeped in turbulent clan history. The West Highland Way is the first trip Macs Adventure operated back in 2003 and remains one of our favourite and top-selling trips today.

  • Hadrian's Wall Path

Hadrian's Wall Path follows the route of the UNESCO world heritage wall, built to keep the barbaric Scots out of Roman territory.  This outstanding historical site is punctuated with milecastles, museums and recreations, not to mention some of the best walking in England.

  • Coast to Coast

The Coast to Coast is one of England's most iconic walks.  While not a National Trail, it still holds its own as one of the great walks of England.  It takes in two National Parks, crammed with natural beauty and takes you through some of the loveliest villages in the North of England.
