Brimming with both history and culture these islands have pretty landscapes of picturesque white villages, quaint ports, beaches next to crystal-clear waters and ancient monasteries on every surrounding hilltop. This is Greece at its most genuine with friendly locals and traditional tavernas where you can indulge in local delicacies, such as souvlaki or melopita, a Sifnian honey pie. Easy-going walks take you on mule paths where the scent of lemon orchards and herbs alongside the pathways send a zing to your nostrils!

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Athens, transfer to hotel Day 2 Transfer to Piraeus. Early ferry to Sifnos. Loop Walk to Cape Agios Sostis 6 miles / 10 km Day 3 Walk from Artemonas via Kastro to Faro and Chrisopigi Monastery 7 miles / 11.5 km Day 4 Transfer to Vathi. Walk the Hidden Sides of Sifnos Trail to Apollonia 5 miles / 8 km Day 5 Ferry to Milos. Loop Walk from Adamantas to Trypiti and Plaka 6 miles / 10 km Day 6 Ferry to the island of Kimolos (payable locally). Loop Walk to Skiadi and Chora. 9 miles / 15 km Day 7 Free day or optional boat ride around Milos Day 8 Ferry back to Piraeus. Onward Travel
