Easy to Moderate Cycling Holidays

Easy to Moderate

Highlights
  • Easy cycling along canalside paths and locks of the Canal du Midi and Robine
  • Explore Puglia's Salento coastline and historic towns
  • Pedal through the quintessential Cotswold countryside, a jewel of England
  • Adventure from London to Oxford by bike and discover iconic British landmarks
  • Cycle the captivating Luberon valley in Provence, enjoying fine food and wine

At Macs Adventure, our Easy to Moderate cycling trips let you stretch your legs just a bit more than the very Easiest trips. With a touch of extra effort, you'll trade the gentler paths for routes that take you deeper into the heart of the countryside, offering a richer taste of adventure.

These trips are great for occasional riders. They generally have slightly longer days than our Easy trips, so a decent level of fitness is required for them. So if you fancy checking out the Chateaux and Gardens of the Loire or authentic side of Portugal's Atlantic Coast, then an Easy to Moderate trip might be the one for you.

Our trips include hassle free luggage transfer and hand-picked accommodation, and with the support of complete route planning and guidance available on our app, you can simply relax and enjoy the ride.

  • How an Electric Bike Works

Join Fran on a self-guided e-biking holiday in Greece as she tries riding an e-bike for the first time. The e-bike is a wonderful way to enjoy our cycling trips without as much of the effort required on a self-powered bike. Need that little extra boost on a hill? No problem! Just press a button and it will give you exactly that as it makes cycling that little bit easier. Watch our video and learn the basics alongside Fran.

  • Great Glen Cycleway

The Great Glen Cycleway is a four day trip along Scotland's Highland Fault Line, which has created three beautiful lochs, Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and of course Loch Ness. The route follows the same path as the Great Glen Way walking route and for this reason we have noted that this trip needs some Mountainbike experience to navigate your way along.
